Dubai Art Week 2017

The Dubai Art Week 2017 initiated by Art Dubai Group and supported by Dubai Culture & Arts Authority and Dubai Design District (d3), is a central week-long event in the region’s cultural calendar, playing an important role in bringing together and showcasing the creative achievements and ambitions from Dubai and its neighboring cities.
The Dubai Art Week 2017, this annual celebration of art, design and culture runs from 13-18 March, 2017, with an expanded programme of exciting events that celebrate the diversity and dynamism of the city’s art scene, including Art Dubai, Design Days Dubai the Global Art Forum and SIKKA Art Fair. A wider programme of shows and initiatives include Art Nights at Gate Village, AlSerkal and AlQuoz Galleries Night, which all contribute to establish Dubai as an essential meeting point firmly-positioned on the global art map.
Running alongside the programme in Dubai are a number of key events across the other emirates, put together by leading cultural organisations from the UAE: Sharjah Biennial 13, Sharjah Museums Department, Barjeel Art Foundation, Emirates Fine Arts Society, Salama
Bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation, Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, and New York University Abu Dhabi, among others.
SWISS ART GATE UAE promotes mutual understanding between Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates through cultural exchange. by organizing events and exhibitions with local, regional and international artists.
